- Temperature: In winter (December - February next year), the temperature is usually between -15°C and -30°C.
- Professional cold-proof gear is a must; do not take this lightly.
2. Visa & Documents
- Ensure your passport is valid for more than 6 months.
- Apply for and confirm a valid Chinese tourist visa in advance.
II. Cold Weather Gear Recommendations
"Wearing the right clothes is half the battle!" Please follow the "layered dressing method":
- Base Layer: Close-fitting cotton long-sleeve underwear is a must.
- Middle Layer: Fleece jacket, sweatshirt, or woolen sweater.
- Outer Layer: A long down jacket with at least 300g of filling.
- Trousers: Thermal cotton pants + windproof and waterproof outer pants.
